Greenhouse Network is a collaborative initiative, creating a network of urban 3- and 4-season greenhouses across Guelph and Wellington County, intentionally activated to improve local food security and food access.
This initiative is a multi-sectoral community collaboration, creating a viable operations model to install and sustain a network of season-extending urban and peri-urban agricultural infrastructure. This project will create collaborations amongst citizen growers, provide smart technology-enabled infrastructure and resources, and offer hands-on, interactive educational programming, including urban agriculture and food skills workshops.
We are currently seeking community partners and collaborators to help envision this project. If you are a NFP working on food access, food growing, food security, or a community project with access to land, please fill out the form below o express your interest in being involved in this project.
