Call for Advisory Table Members
Are you a senior (55+) who loves food, cooking and community? We have an opportunity for you!
We are currently looking for local seniors to join our Advisory Table to help us imagine and implement Nourishing Community Connections, a new food focused learning and connection program for seniors in Guelph and Wellington.
What will the Advisory Table Do?
The Advisory Table will meet three times over the course of the project June 2025, September 2025 and January 2026 at 10C Shared Space which is located Downtown Guelph. Their focus will be to help 10C develop food focused programs for seniors including cooking workshops, tours, community meals and other events. The wisdom of the Advisory Table will ensure that the program meets the needs of local seniors.
Advisory Table members will receive an honorarium of $150 as a demonstration of our gratitude for their time. We can also support transportation to meetings and other accommodations that might be needed.
