Meet Astoria – with Vanessa Chris

Most impact-driven organizations have tons of great stories to tell. The challenge, for many, is finding them. I created something that can help with that.

It’s called Astoria—an AI-powered story harvesting system designed to help bring stories from your front lines to your fundraising, communications and engagement teams.

I just completed a successful pilot with Stonehenge Therapeutic Community, and am looking to sign five “founding clients” by December 1, 2026. If you’re curious to learn more, download the Stonehenge case study, check out our founding client offer below–or simply reach out!

Rainbow Chorus Waterloo Wellington – Connecting Through Song

The Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo Wellington is bringing internationally renowned singer, composer, community song leader and vocal activist Melanie DeMore to Guelph,, a participatory workshop exploring the power of singing to build community, connection and joy.

Learning to Co-Resist – A Workshop with OPIRG Guelph!

In news media and movements we often hear terms like violence and non-violence, or peaceful and non-peaceful. But what do these actually mean to you as an individual and in your work – or collectively, to us? This workshop works with groups of people to help individuals explore those definitions themselves through (sometimes difficult) interactive conversations, using historical and recent liberation movements for context.

We also discuss policing in movements, why it might be pertinent to exclude police from our organizing spaces and
events, and when & how – even with differences of opinions – we can use simple concepts to work together for stronger movements.
