Meet Lauren Martin, the owner of Cool Aunt Creatives and a full-time coworker at 10C!
With a background in landscape architecture, an interest in environmental psychology and a passion for creating meaningful spaces, Lauren established Cool Aunt Creatives in 2023. “My real objective for the company is to create more playful opportunities that helps adults create that sense of space for themselves, and in turn improves their mental health.” – Lauren

Cool Aunt Creatives curates a range of events, workshops, and markets. From Renaissance Faire’s (a personal favourite of Lauren’s) to dance classes, and arts & craft workshops – there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Lauren loves to cowork at 10C for many reasons. She appreciates the local resources that 10C has to offer, and she loves learning from
like-minded individuals in the space.
“More than anything its about knowing your resources, using your resources and appreciating the community that you come from.”- Lauren
Additionally, she finds that as a neurodivergent adult, the body doubling environment that 10C creates helps her to focus on her work. “I love having separation from where I relax and where I work.” – Lauren

The flexible spaces at 10C has allowed Lauren taking advantage of her 10C membership in a unique way. She has a full-time coworking desk and utilized part-time coworking packages and daily hot-desking for contract staff. With these options she’s been able to expand her business, and offer a professional atmosphere for her employees to work and collaborate with one another.
