Making WISE Decisions, A Pilot Workshop
HLP Consulting, Bronwen Jones and Dr. Joseph Mudge

We are inviting 10C members and any interested parties to take part in a free pilot workshop that introduces a new decision making framework developed by Dr. Joe Mudge and Bronwen Jones, local decision science experts at HLP Consulting. This is the first time we are running it in a community and social impact setting, and we want to test and refine it with people who are actively trying to move important work forward.
Instead of more theory about “good leadership” or “better meetings,” this framework treats decisions themselves as the real output of cognitive work. The session will walk through a practical way to:
• Turn fuzzy goals into crisp, shared outcomes that people can actually act on
• Make decisions faster without feeling rushed or reckless
• Capture decisions so they are visible, owned, and easier to follow through on
Because this is a pilot with 10C members, participants will:
• Shape how the framework evolves, based on what does and does not work in real community and nonprofit contexts
• Get access to tools and templates that they can take back to their boards, teams, and projects
• Leave with at least one real decision, from their own work, clarified during the session
Details:
Title: Making WISE Decisions, A Pilot Workshop
Cost: Free for 10C Members and colleagues
Date: Wednesday January 14
Time: 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Location: In Person at 10C Shared Space, Guelph – Heritage Room
Contact: Bronwen with questions – [email protected]
If you are interested in participating in this pilot and helping shape the framework, please register below to reserve a spot. You are encouraged to bring a real decision you or your group are currently wrestling with, so you can work on something concrete during the session.
