Exhibition by Mary Anne Young
Illustrating Nature’s Details celebrates the intricate beauty of Ontario’s wild places through finely detailed drawings of native plants and animals. Each piece is inspired by time spent observing the quiet richness of forests, wetlands, and meadows — places where the small and often overlooked reveal their elegance upon close study.
Through a blend of scientific observation and artistic interpretation, these works highlight the patterns, textures, and relationships that define our natural world. This exhibition invites viewers to pause, look closely, and reconnect with the complexity and wonder that thrive in Ontario’s landscapes.
