Karina holds a degree in Sociology and Indigenous Studies from Carleton University and has a background in social justice organizing and government work with the Women and Gender Equality department. They are passionate about food justice—ensuring everyone has fair access to affordable, culturally appropriate, and nutritious food—and about building inclusive, community-centered food spaces.
Karina is a creative, community-oriented person who believes food brings people together and is excited to be working on the Nourish Café.
