Join us on Wednesday March 11 for breakfast with 10C member, Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist Kelsey White.
Kelsey will be sharing how we can stay connected while honouring our limits and needs in relationships. Relationships shape nearly every part of our lives, and the quality of those connections has a powerful impact on our wellbeing. When we don’t tend to them in sustainable ways, the cost can show up as burnout, anxiety, depression, resentment, anger, and increased conflict.
Whether you’re hoping to strengthen relationships with family members, co-workers, clients, or peers, this workshop explores boundaries as more than simply saying “no.” Healthy boundaries are flexible and responsive, helping us stay grounded while also considering the realities of the people around us. Together, we’ll take a closer look at what boundary-setting really involves and build practical tools for creating relationships that feel more balanced, respectful, and sustainable.
Kelsey White, MSW RSW is a psychotherapist in private practice who specializes in trauma, emotional distress and relationships. She is passionate about supporting clients to build their capacity for mindful awareness of their internal states to decrease distress, deepen connection to the self and maintain meaningful healthy relationships.
Tickets are sliding scale from $5-$35 and include a light breakfast with coffee and tea starting at 8:30am.
The sliding scale recognizes that the economic system is an outstated and oppressive model that does not serve the needs of our community. By offering a range of ticket prices we can reduce barriers to participation for events and provide learning opportunities that are meant for everyone.
