Support Local at our Community Supported Agriculture Showcase – Thursday February 27, 4-7PM

Drop in to this unique showcase of local farmers offering Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscriptions this season! If you are curious about shopping local and learning about farms in Guelph and Wellington County, this is the event for you!

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a great way to purchase fresh ingredients directly from a farmer by subscribing to a regular box of fresh local produce or farm products. In today’s grocery landscape, where monopolies drive up prices and limit choice, supporting a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is more important than ever. By purchasing from a CSA, you invest directly in providing financial stability to local farmers, ensuring fresh, seasonal food while keeping money in your community. CSAs promote food security, sustainability, and transparency – giving you a direct connection to where and how your food is grown. You get to enjoy the MOST delicious, nutritious, sustainably grown seasonal produce, and have the added bonus of putting your money to work in your local community. In an era where “buy local” is more than just a trend, CSAs offer a meaningful way to support a fairer, more resilient local food system.

We have the following Farms joining us to share their CSA offerings, accept subscriptions and get to know members of the Guelph community:
