Food Uniting Neighbours or f.u.n. is a community-led project currently based in the Onward Willow neighbourhood. f.u.n.’s goal is to improve access to nourishing food and to build food-based actions designed by the neighbourhood, for the neighbourhood.
f.u.n. Fridays is a family friendly weekly drop-in that aims to build community connection around food. Every Friday from 11am – 1pm at Shelldale Community Centrte (in the gym) f.u.n. team members, in collaboration with community partners, offer a welcoming space where the community can gather, share a free meal together, grocery shop from The SEED’s sliding scale market, play games, listen to music, and access community resources. All are welcome!
