A big welcome to the Guelph Organic Conference to both the Guelph Farmers’ Market and 10C on January 27 and 28!
As Canada’s original organic gathering, they are a place where farmers, researchers, businesses, and supporters can come together to learn, share, and strengthen the community. This year marks their 45th year and a major shift for the conference as they return to community building while embracing the changes needed to lead the organic sector into its next phase.
This year you will find program highlights from:
- Cory Eichman – The Farm as a Living Organism
- Joel Williams – Organic vs Inorganic Nitrogen
- Dr. Erin Silva – Building Soil Health in Organic Systems
- Scotty ‘Data’ Walker – Ecological Strategies for Resilience
- Yasi Zorlutuna – Circular food systems
In addition to daytime workshops and panel discussions, they are introducing a new evening trade show at the Guelph Farmers’ Market that creates more opportunities for conversations, product features, and sector connecting – come join us!
Their full day conference schedule and registration details can be found below.
