Join us for a fun afternoon of pie-making! Everyone will have a hands on opportunity to learn the basic techniques of making pie crust. It’s not so hard! You just need a good teacher, a foolproof recipe, some tips, and some practice. Participants can choose from different fresh fruit pie fillings, and take their own masterpiece home to bake. This event is for community members aged 55+!
Karen Houle is a local food and soil activist. She is the founder or The Art of Soil Collective – artofsoil.ca. She loves cooking and baking from scratch, and helping others get confident in the kitchen!
