Join Climate Hope Lab on Sunday, April 26th for the closing reception of Rooted in Hope, their Earth Month exhibition in 10C’s art gallery.
This special event will feature a community art workshop, an open, drop-in experience where attendees can explore art-making and artivism together.
Supplies will be provided at various art stations, and you’re also welcome to bring your own crafts* for a relaxed and creative “crafternoon.”
Stations will include:
Stone painting – paint a stone to bring home or leave somewhere!
Upcycling textiles – learn to make a applique animal or make a 3D bug from fabric scraps!
Collage making – we have lots of National Geographics!
Postcard making – with Sarah from Guelph Climate Action Network (GCAN)
Painting with Posca markers – make your own art on upcycled boards & repurposed frames!
Cut paper flower bouquets – make your own paper bouquet using various papers and paints!
