Bring your clean slow cooker with you and take it away full- then have dinner hot and ready in 6-8 hours. Sample recipes will be vegan and gluten free- with options to personalize your dish at home.

Facilitator: Naomi Miller

Naomi Miller has been an Anglican Priest for 25 years and is a recent graduate with a BASc in Applied Human Nutrition. In the overlap between these two roles, she is deeply interested in how we put love for ourselves and one another into practice by the ways we feed ourselves and others.

Sliding Scale Tickets:

All Nourishing Connections workshops are set using a varying sliding scale. The sliding scale recognizes that our economic system is an outdated and oppressive model that does not serve the needs of our community. By offering a range of ticket prices we aim to reduce barriers to participation in community events and learning opportunities that are meant for everyone to enjoy.

Please choose the ticket price that best fits with your needs. This class is for participants aged 55+
