Guelph CHC Looking for Board Directors

Guelph Community Health Centre

Are you a Guelph community member who care about making health and well-being easy and accessible for your community? The Guelph CHC is looking for new board members.

We welcome people who are passionate about our community and who represent the diverse community that Guelph CHC serves. This includes a commitment to achieving a board that reflects the broadest range of qualifications, skills, experiences, perspectives, and the many personal identities (intersectionality) essential to advancing GCHC’s mission: We work with our community to promote and sustain health and well-being for all.

Welcome Truth to the GFF

Guelph Film Festival

We’re delighted to share that Truth Harrison will officially step into the role of Artistic Director in January. Many of you had the chance to meet Truth at this year’s festival, and we’re excited to welcome them into this next chapter of GFF.

An artist, arts leader, and storyteller, Truth brings a deep commitment to creating spaces where stories foster empathy and invite meaningful dialogue. With more than 15 years of experience working at the intersection of art and community, they have programmed festivals, curated events, and led creative initiatives that celebrate diverse voices and build genuine connections between artists and audiences.

For Truth, art is more than expression — it’s a way of bringing people together. Film, and documentary in particular, holds a special place in their practice for its honesty, urgency, and power to surface the stories we most need to hear. We’re thrilled to see how this passion will shape the future of GFF.
