I am an academic, community-oriented researcher focused on empowering older adults, persons living with dementia, and their families through the co-creation of age-/dementia-friendly communities, technologies, and services. My mission is to help create a future in which people don't fear the health/social changes that later life entails, and instead embrace the process of aging and the new opportunities it brings them. My "day job" is Scientific Program Manager at the geriatric research centre (CRIUGM) affiliated with University of Montreal and partnered with University of Toronto & Simon Fraser University. I also occasionally teach at George Brown School of Design and University of Toronto (Occupational Therapy & Faculty of Information) and dabble in other health/tech/design research contracts. I'd love to get to know other 10C community members … especially if you are doing something or living an experience that is related to my work.
