Chef Esther, a Nigerian culinary artist, founded Metheq Cuisine out of her love for the rich and diverse flavors of Nigerian cuisine and a passion for hospitality. The name "Metheq," meaning "sweetness," was chosen by Esther and her husband to reflect the delightful experience they aim to provide.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Esther grew up immersed in the vibrant food culture of her homeland, where every meal told a story of heritage, community, and tradition. She began her professional journey by acquiring culinary knowledge from various culinary schools in her home country and later worked in notable restaurants and establishments, honing her skills and deepening her appreciation for authentic Nigerian flavors and various cuisines of the world. Metheq Cuisine, specializes in authentic Nigerian cuisine, offering a broad range of catering services. They cater to various events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, private chef services and family celebrations, in addition to providing pastries, homemade meals, and weekend meal prep packages.
