Your Spreadsheet Might be the Problem

You know the Friday afternoon: an enquiry sitting in one inbox, a registration in a spreadsheet, a name scribbled on a sticky note from a call you took mid-job… and you, copying the same person into all three. Nobody designed that. It just accumulated. It isn’t a staffing problem, it’s a plumbing problem. And in 2026, there’s no need to be spending your time chasing down data or copying and pasting the same email a hundred times.

I’m Ameet. I build CRM and operations systems for small businesses, nonprofits and solo operators: automated intake, follow-up that doesn’t depend on anyone remembering, one place to look. If you want some of your time back, I’d love to chat and see if I can help.

Guelph Film Festival Tickets on sale week of October 5, 2026

We’re baaaccckkk. Guelph Film Festival is coming to town November 6-14, 2026. Tickets on sale this week! Be sure to check back.
This year our theme is “I Am Here, Here I am,” and we have an incredible lineup that includes 10 feature films, 12 short films, three animated children’s shorts, and an industry workshop for filmmakers looking to distribute and market their work.

We open with The Dads, a moving portrait of fathers standing beside their trans and nonbinary children with love, vulnerability, and courage.

We close with a celebration of food and LOUF, an intimate NFB vérité film following Palestinian chef and author Fadi Kattan and restaurateur Nicole Mankine as they navigate the realities of opening a restaurant in Toronto against the backdrop of the crisis in Gaza.

Along the way:
• Nirilaurta: Let Us Eat explores food security and sovereignty.
• There Are No Words considers aging, grief, and memory.
• Nuisance Bear examines ecology, tourism, and human-animal relationships.
• A City in the Forest brings environmental justice, surveillance, protest, and the American judicial system into focus.
• We’re also welcoming back Tiny Docs and offering a workshop for filmmakers looking to market and distribute their work.
• Our shorts collections This Is My Home and Stand With Me explore belonging, solidarity, connection, and balance in uncertain times.

Beyond the screen, conversations and community-led events invite us to listen, question, and imagine what change can look like. Pay What You Want admission, free admission for those under 30, and accessible screening spaces continue this year.

Climate Crisis Café

Ignatius Jesuit Centre

Understanding climate change can bring feelings of grief, uncertainty, anger, and anxiety. If you’ve found yourself carrying these emotions, you’re not alone. While these are personal feelings, they need not be isolating. Coming together to share our experiences and reconnect with the living world can help transform feelings of despair into resilience, hope, and purposeful action.

This fall, the Centre for Integral Ecology at IJC is hosting the Climate Crisis Café, a series offering space to connect, reflect, and respond alongside others who share a deep concern for the future of our common home. Through guided conversation, creative expression, and time spent on the land, participants are invited to explore their relationship with the ecological challenges of our time in a supported space.

Ignatius Farm Seed Swap

Now is the time to start saving seeds from your flowers, herbs, and veggies! Save them, dry them, package & label them, and bring them to our seed swap October 19, 4-5pm at the Farm Workshop. The farm team will have saved some seeds from our crops and you can swap seeds with us and other gardeners.

Don’t have any seeds to save? Don’t worry, we would love to visit with you, and there will be extra seeds available.
