Come by for an informal ‘tea party’ and conversational chat about herbal medicine. We’ll talk about different herbal teas, their medicinal qualities, and how flavours relate to medicinal actions (e.g. bitter and digestion, etc.)

We’ll also discuss medicinal benefits of some common herbal teas (peppermint, chamomile, etc.) as well as herbs that are less commonly used as tea (e.g. rosemary, which can be helpful for cognitive support). Bring your questions and a notebook if you’d like.

This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and learn about herbal medicine. Please RSVP to help us plan for numbers; drop-ins also welcome. BYO mug if you can. Facilitated by clinical herbalist Zhyfhs Millicent, who is a Registered Herbalist with the Ontario Herbalists Association and graduate of Dominion Herbal College’s 4-year Clinical Herbal Therapy program. She is passionate about sharing information about herbal medicine as well as empowering people with knowledge to improve their health & well-being. Currently she offers herbal medicine workshops, plant walks, and one-on-one consultations with custom-formulated herbal remedies (tinctures, teas, powders, etc.).

Pop by for some afternoon tea!
