What would a birthday be without a party? Join us for an evening of fun with three local, community performers followed by the Flamingos.
Megan Arnold is a Filipinx-Canadian multidisciplinary artist who wants to make you laugh and cry and cringe. “There Is Nothing More” is a performance that brings together collective spellcasting, an amorous monologue, call-and-response, kickflips, and El Scorcho.
Daniel Cabena teaches singing, historically-inspired performance at the Laurier Academy of Music and Arts. Daniel’s music-making and teaching are informed by the Alexander Technique, in which field he is a teacher. He also makes music with his hands, playing modern and Baroque violin, as well as vièle, viola da gamba, and recorders.
Melanie Birman is a Toronto-turned Guelph singer/songwriter. Her voice is a soulful cross between Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones. She’s been studying and working in the music industry for the past eight years. When she is not involved in music, she enjoys practicing yoga, dance, mindfulness, and working with children and youth as an outdoor educator and educational mentor. She is also a 10C volunteer and excited to help celebrate their 15th birthday!
