Call for Submissions: 10C Juried Art Show
10C is excited to host our first Juried Art Show this May! Local artists are welcome to submit up to three artworks for consideration.
The deadline to submit is April 14, 2024.
The exhibition, You Know The Place will be on from May 1 – 31, 2024 at our gallery at 10C Shared Space (42 Carden St Guelph)
Submission Fee’s
You may submit up to 3 works for consideration.
$20 entry fee per artwork
($10 for 10C Members)
Or
$45 for 3 submissions
($25 for 10C members)
Our submission fees are set to cover administrative and staffing costs related to the curating and installation of the show. If the submission fee is a barrier to applying, please connect with us at art@10carden.ca
Theme
Artists are welcomed to create/submit work in response to the theme of Place. Capturing the spaces and feelings that make being in this community unique.
Please note that artwork does not need to adhere to the theme to be included in the show.
Prizes
1ST PLACE PRIZE: $200 + Solo exhibition at 10C in 2025
2ND PLACE PRIZE: $100 + 10C Membership
Staff Choice Award: 10C Membership + Hot-desking pass
Winners will be announced at the closing reception on May 29.
How to Apply
Apply through the submission form below. You will be invoiced for the submissions fee. Submission fee’s must be paid by April 17 for your submission to be considered.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance into the show but we will do our best to accommodate at least one work from each artist. Please note that we have limited space in the gallery and large works may not be accommodated. We do have some space available for small 3 dimensional works. All artwork must be ready to hang with wires or d-rings.
All artwork sales will go through 10C’s POS system at the front desk. We take a %15 commission. Please note that artwork does not need to be for sale.
