10C is seeking new members for the Board of Directors!
The Directors of 10C Shared Space, a not-for-profit board, are responsible for the oversight of strategy, risk management, social enterprise business model, community programs, financial management, reporting and impact measurement communications. 10C currently has opportunities for new members on its very active and engaged board of Directors. The term is 3 years. A maximum total term of 6 years can be completed back to back by any board member.
The board generally meets at 10C on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. In addition to the regular meetings, there are 2 retreat sessions annually requiring the commitment of a 4-5 hr block of time either on a weekend or weekday, as determined by the team. This, including email and direct involvement in the area of selected board responsibilities, may total 8-10 hours per month.

We seek applications from individuals with a broad range of skills and knowledge and encourage applications from those with accounting, investment, financial planning and management, legal, and fundraising expertise and with interests and expertise in business, technology, and social finance.
Specific positions we are recruiting for include:
- Secretary: Key roles of the Secretary include sharing meeting agenda and other relevant materials in advance of Board meetings, taking detailed minutes during Board meetings, promptly sharing minutes after the Board meeting, aid in the planning of Annual General meeting and other Board events, and supporting effective communication among Board members.
- Finance Committee Member: Key roles of the finance committee include financial analysis, guidance, and oversight of the budget.
- Directors: All directors play a key role in oversight and strategic planning for 10C Share Space. We welcome interest in this general role as well.
